On Saturday 28th November, despite the wet weather, a good crowd turned out to the village green to watch as this year’s Christmas tree and pub lights were switched on. Louise Hillman from Lynford Hotel who had sponsored the tree, had the honour of flicking the switch.
There was Carol Singing by the Village Voices Choir and afterwards the Crown Hotel served mulled wine and mince pies, raising over £100 for charity.
