Parish Council Elections 2023

Mundford Parish Council would like to invite residents of the village to stand to become a Parish Councillor in the local elections on Thursday 4th of May 2023.

To be eligible to stand for election you must :

  • Be a British Citizen or a Citizen of the Commonwealth or European Union.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Be on the list of electors for the Parish or:
  • To have occupied land within the parish as owner or tenant for 12 months or more
  • To work in the parish.
  • To have resided in, or within 3 miles of the Parish for at least 12 months.

Nomination papers can be obtained by sending an email to Breckland District Council or from the Parish Clerk. The papers will need to be delivered by hand to the Electoral Services Team at the Breckland District Council office in Dereham between March 24th and April 4th.
